About
Byron Leavitt is an author, editor and copywriter from the Tacoma, Washington area. He specializes in fictional work of a decidedly bizarre bent, with characters that a normal person would find abnormally peculiar and situations that will both leave you scratching your head and pondering deep truths. His work has been published in a number of small press publications, as well as in collections and anthologies (including a couple of "Best Of..." books.) He has also self-published one short novel which was co-authored with his good friend Thomas W Jenkins.
His edited works have ranged from a series of very positively-reviewed children's novels to a powerful self-help guide. He has also dabbled in copywriting for companies as varied as a design agency, a pet products manufacturer and a church.
Byron lives in a centennial Swiss house surrounded by carnivorous plants and Morning Glory with the love of his life, Sarah, and their precocious daughter, Aurora.
